Conservation and Research

Botanical gardens, like Arborcrest, play a critical role in conserving rare plants. We are starting to engage in seed banking, where seeds from rare and endangered plants are collected and stored for future propagation. Additionally, we observe their ecology and growth to understand the needs of these species for successful cultivation. Through public education, we are trying to raise awareness about the importance of biodiversity and the threats that rare plants face. By creating and maintaining specialized habitats, we are working to provide a safe haven for these species, ensuring their survival for future generations.
